"Ever After" (aka: "Eva") is a flashy 10 year old bay Thoroughbred mare (unregistered), 16.0 hh, with good bone and substance. She is very kind, honest and forgiving. Eva would be perfect for the beginner or child as she is very calm, quiet and sensible, nothing seems to rattle her. She is very obedient and extremely willing. Being light in the rider's hand with smooth gaits, Eva is exceptionally easy to ride. She has very nice gaits, with a ground covering walk, a very smooth trot that is easy to sit and a rocking horse
canter. Eva has superb ground and barn manners, a people's horse that loves attention, gets along extremely well with other horses and is excellent on trails.
Eva was started back under saddle last year after being a broodmare for a few years and is currently in Dressage training with Brigitte Peterson, Bereiter-FN (Certified German Dressage Instructor) . Brigitte comments that: "Eva is a joy to ride, train and has proven to be an excellent school horse. She has a great work ethic and a willing attitude".
In Eva's earlier days, she had experience and success showing in Hunter/Jumpers. She's quiet, brave and willing over fences. Eva is currently showing Training Level Dressage and won her first Training Level Dressage test at a schooling show on 04.20.02 with a score of 61+%.
Being a proven broodmare and having show success in Dressage and Hunter/Jumpers, with a fantastic attitude to go along with it, we don't expect her to last long. She is sound with no vices. Loads, clips, ties, travels and adapts exceptionally well at new places or shows. We are located in Blacksburg, Virginia.
