Havana the new Pompeii (2)
HAVANA THE NEW POMPEII (PAGE 2)
Was this done in purpose?
This sign should read: "Abajo el Bloqueo," or Down with the Blockade, since Castro refers to the US embargo as a 'blockade.' But when it was used to patch one of the windows of this house at Calle 29 between F & G in the Vedado, Havana, part of it was covered and now it reads: "Bajo el Loqueo" or 'Under the Craziness,' which is the term used by most Cubans to describe the last 45 years of Castro-fascism.
The great transportation system that Castro has designed for the citizens of Havana.
In Castro's Cuba, not even the dead can rest in peace!
These photos were taken at the Cementerio de Colon in Havana.
An old man taking a public bath in one of Havana's neighborhoods, since now most houses do not have running water after 45 years of Hurricane Castro, and need to have a water truck to deliver the water (See next picture).
A question for those who are familiar with Havana: Do you know where this is?
No, it is not rural Cuba, it is calle 35 between A and B in Vedado, Havana!!
Only in Castro's Cuba could you find something like this (above): The "National Glass and Mirrors Factory" (Nacional de Espejos) has most of its glass windows broken! Unbelievable, but it is a sad reality of Cuba today!
The once famous Optica El Prisma of Havana, stolen by Castro in 1960.
Havana is now a dump, but according to this sign in the middle of all this destruction, Castro is saying that the Revolution is doing great and that they need to keep moving forward! Is he crazy or what?
