A Lasting Impression Electrolysis

124 Years
of Proven Results!

AEA, NYEA

lectrolysis--Webster defines electrolysis as "the use of an electrified needle to destroy the roots of unwanted body hair."

Electrolysis has been accepted for its permanency for 124 years and is the only method approved by the FDA for permanent hair removal.  Only needle-type electrolysis is recognized as the
gold standard of permanent hair removal by the medical community.  Electrolysis has been shown to be permanent in over a century of use, and has been well recognized by knowledgeable physicians and hundreds of scientific articles published in medical literature.

The process by which a small filament (probe or needle) approximately the diameter of the hair itself, is inserted into the hair follicle to the depth of the hair's root (papilla).  A slight electrical current is then activated for the purpose of cauterizing the blood supply to the follicle, allowing the hair to slide freely out of the follicle when pulled buy tweezers.

First discovered by Dr. Charles Michel in 1875 to treat patients who had painful ingrown eyelashes, today electrolysis is used as a means of permanently removing unwanted hair from any area of the body:

Eyebrows, Upper/Lower Lip
Chin, Sides of Face
Underarms, Arms
Chest (Cleavage & Breasts)
Back, Shoulders
Abdomen, Bikini
Legs, Feet, Toes

An electrologist will use any of the following modalities in treating their clients:

Galvanic    Thermolysis    Blend

All three modalities are equally effective in achieving the desired results.

The only method approved by the FDA for Permanent Hair Removal
