THE FIRST TIME THAT I DIED
This originally started as a screenplay for a criminal justice class, but I reformatted it into a stage play (although it could go either way). It did get me a good grade in the class and is one of the better stories I have come up with. Here's how it goes:
An attempt was made on the life of mob boss Victor Ravera, but it failed. However, Victor is no longer Victor. Now he assumes all the personality traits of Vito DeSalva, a mobster who was murdered exactly fifty years ago. In fact, Vito is all that is there. To add to the problem, Vito remembers who murdered him, and that man was not only never convicted of the crime, but he is still alive. And Vito knows it.
