The Living End
THE LIVING END
Written in 1998, this is still one of my favorites.  As my second play to be produced, this show came off in a big way, with audiences (small as they might have been) praising every part of it.  I couldn't believe the number of people who came to me after the show to tell me how much they enjoyed it.  Anyway, here is the breakdown:

Ever wondered what it would be like to see your own funeral?  Brad Keller wondered that.  A spoiled, mid-20's rich boy living off his parents' wealth, Brad has no ambition in life, not to mention a lot of time on his hands. Brad's friend, Alan, isn't as well off, and when Brad sees the opportunity to fake his death so he can see his own funeral, he jumps at the chance - and coerces Alan to help for a nice ten thousand dollar payday.  Suffice to say, things don't exactly work out as planned.  This cast features three male, two female, one bit part either male or female, and one male to play a dead body.
