THE SUICIDERS
This play is in a genre of its own. It's not a murder/mystery, and it's not just an ordinary drama. If I had to lable it, I guess it would be somewhere in the middle of a thriller, or a suspense piece. The tone is very surreal at times and would be great on stage.
Joseph is depressed. He is actually depressed to the point of ending it all. After his wife's murder, and the inability to catch the killer, Joseph has nothing left, other than his fortune, his greedy nephew, and his nephew's froends who want his money when he dies. So they want to help him along a little. Perhaps leaving a gun lying around might get the man's attention. But the vision of his dead wife is too much for Joseph as they she tries to warn him against his nephew, but can the ghost actually bring sanity to this former soldier?
