Basic Facts

I am a 49 year old married woman who one old and dear friend likes to describe as a fairy Sprite - light and airy. That harkens back to when I was 16 and described myself as a Sky Blue Angel, a moniker I decided upon for some reason. But it stuck for this friend, and I always smile when she calls me Sprite. I wouldn't go that far, but I am a spiritual person, gifted with psychic abilities and a strong insight into others.

I am an artist by avocation, and an events administrator as a vocation. I fell into the field many years ago, and found that I enjoy doing this work. It is hard, tedious and stressful at times, but it keeps my brain active.

I am happily married for the first time to my second husband, who I met on line 5 years ago. We married 6 months after we met, and my friends thought I lost my mind. I didn't - I knew I found my soul mate. We don't have kids, just 8 cats who continue to amuse us with their antics, except for the fact that one of our male cat's likes to urine spray everything, clothes included. I blame it on his getting older, but the truth is that he hates the youngest male cat. Ahhhhhh, children with fur.

I am blonde, blue eyed and in good health. Slender, but not slim, and a positive person for the most part.

My Hobbies & Interests

I was an artist once, as I said before, but never professionally. I wish I had pursued it as I was talented, but life gets in the way unfortunately. I am a hippie at heart, but I can wear a suit with the best of them, though it really isn't my style. I like funky clothes, interesting jewelry, and my favorite pair of jeans.

I am a brainiac, except when it comes to math. Totally lousy in math, but great in the Sciences, English and History. I LOVE the Discovery Channel, A&E/ History Channel and PBS..any show about archaelogy, Ancient Greek and Roman history, dinosaurs and fossil digs, and forensic sciences capture my interest. Psychology is a huge interest of mine, and I am forever in awe of the inner workings of the mind. But not a total bore there..I love Scrubs, ER and stupid shows, and love classic Rock --Zeppelin, Santana, Clapton, the Beatles...all have my heart. And, I love R and B music, some good old funk dance music, and I love to dance! In College they called me the Disco Queen! Funny.

My husband and I love entertaining friends with great home cooked meals and fine wine. We both love the fine art of conversation, and despite how serious that sounds, we are total goof balls together --Abbott and Costello!

My Online Life

I am not a chatter at all, and basically hate chat rooms. Sorry, but I deal with people all day and need online "alone time"...not a snob, just overloaded.

I visit sites that pertain to health, women's issues, psychology etc. And of course I play games in Pogo...mostly Solitaire.
