Wortcunning to be followed in preparing the Faery Oil:
Pour sunflower oil into a small blue glass bottle and bless it with charms. Add the leaves from thyme grown in your garden, tiny flowers from a beautiful meadow, mushroom caps found in a mossy faery mound in the woods, and several drops of rose oil. Leave it to ripen in the sun for 3 days.
Faery oil is used in faery contact. Place a light touch of it on the eyelids forehead and heart. Venture into the woods at a suitable time of day. A place that feels right should be chosen to invoke the faeries.Sit and be still and call upon them as you will.
Say aloud: Faeries of the Goddess be, grant me sight of tiny Sidhe.

SPELL OF THE FAERY THIMBLES
If a young maid will look for the first harebells of spring, which are called "fairy thimbles" and are witch's flowers, and then count them up three times as the sun is rising or the dew is falling, she can summon the fairies. She, on leaving, must address them thus:
'Fairies I have sought your bower;
I now retire, and bless your power.'
She must curtsey three times to the fairies, and the magic of the glade will go with her.

THE OAKLEAF FAERY SPELL
If a maid that is deep in love will go with her suitor to a lonely place in the meadows or in the woods, or in the moors, and place within her own and her lover's shoe a single oakleaf; and if they both will wait there and contemplate their love, and speak it to one another as evening falls and the stars come out, they will, if their patience is good, behold the faery host as they come to gambol and sport in the wilds.

Faeries love when humans leave them bread and milk. They especially love things baked with herbs and butter. Try these recipes for attracting faeries to your home.
LAVANDER BLOSSOMS
1 stick butter
1 egg
1/2 cup lavander sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons lavander blossoms
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Cream butter and sugar. Mix in egg then add lavander blossoms.
Mix: flour, baking soda and salt; add butter to the mixture
Drop dough by the teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.

ROSE GERANIUM TEA BREAD
6 tablespoons butter softened
1 cup rose geranium sugar
3/4 cup milk
2 cups flour
2 eggs (room temperature)
1 tablespoon lemon zest
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
Cream butter; gradually add sugar beating until light. Add eggs one at a time and mix well. Add lemon zest.
Stir together: flour, baking powder and salt. Add butter mixture alternately with milk. Mix just until blended. Pour into buttered 9x5 loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
GLAZE
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
juice from 1 lemon
1 tablespoon lemon balm or verbena leaves (minced)
Mix and pour over warm tea bread.
*Don't forget to set some out for the faeries.
