Megara
Smart and sassy. I love her quips. Plus, she's the first Disney heroine to be outright cynical. Which I just thought was fabulous. I love her dress, I love her hair, I love her eyes... And Meg's definitely got the best song of any Disney heroine in the history of ever. I heart that song to no end.

Helga Katrina Sinclair
Helga is not a bitch, Helga is the bitch. While some may contend that she was a villain of her movie, I quite disagree. I've really got an in-depth theory on this, if anyone cares to hear it. At any rate -- Helga, in the Edwardian era, managed to be a woman on her own terms. She's intelligent, sexy, and dangerous. A wonderful role model, if you ask me.

Sarabi
I don't think Sarabi gets the attention she deserves. She's obviously a strong, self-assured lioness. (She'd have to be, to have gained Mufasa's attention). Even after the death of her husband and supposed death of her son, she remains strong, holding the lionesses together and standing up to Scar when it became necessary. Clearly a female to be reckoned with.

Rain
Here's a horse with charisma. Not a single line, and yet we see her personality vividly. She's sweet, yet stubborn; charming, yet infuriating. And the feather is just adorable. Rain is lovingly loyal to her human but utlimately falls for the reckless Spirit. I think her story is just fabulous.

She treated this scrawny two-legged like one of our kind, prancing around him like a love-struck yearling.

The Unicorn
Notably not Amalthea. The human was weak and silly, but the Unicorn is beautiful and strong. Her dedication to her cause is inspiring. Her friendships with Schmendrick and Molly are so much fun to watch, and are especially touching at the end, when she has to leave them. Plus, who could deny the grace and beauty of a Unicorn?

Bo Peep
I think Bo Peep is great. She looks like this fragile little creature, but she's got inner strength and fire. And she's Southern. I think she may be the only Southern animated movie woman (I'm not positive about that, though). She's a perfect steel magnolia -- sweet and strong.
