-Note:  Umbrella's "sixth laboratory" may actually be the Paris lab or the mysterious facility in Loire
Village.  But it's definitely not the Antarctic Base or the Rockfort Island complex.
Umbrella's Military Forces
--------------------------
Umbrella has mustered many soldiers and armed operatives who carry out missions for the company. Throughout the series, we see various military groups and personnel, each specialized for different tasks, though overlap exists between the roles of the different units.  Most of the evidence in the games points to these people as being mercenaries, but the hooded man's comment about winning your freedom at the end of Operation Mad Jackal implies that the soldiers are, in fact, indentured servants of some sort.  In the Mercenary's Diary, the author mentions being slated for execution before being given a second chance by Umbrella, suggesting that the company gathers its armies from imprisoned soldiers in third-world countries, using bribery and influence to buy their freedom and put them in Umbrella's debt. Not a bad way to recruit a bunch of soldiers and agents who'll keep their mouths shut.

Paramilitary Units-This is essentially Umbrella's regular private army.  An unspecialized force organized "to counter corporate terrorism and V.I.P. abduction" (RE3, Mercenary's Diary).  Most of the zombified soldiers on Rockfort Island and Antarctica probably belonged to this group, though the training facility on Rockfort Island was also used to train soldiers for other Umbrella military units (CV, Hunk's Report).

Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service (U.B.C.S.)-These are "nightmen who specialize in handling problems caused by illegal products" (RE3, Mercenary's Diary). They are the ones sent ostensibly to clean up the mess in Raccoon City, and apparently, are quite expendable. Still, I imagine these soldiers are somewhat better trained than Umbrella's ordinary army, if they're expected to put up any kind of meaningful resistance to B.O.W.'s.  Some are equipped with experimental weapons (i.e., the mine thrower), and they're vaccinated against Umbrella's viruses (RE3, Mercenary's Pocketbook).

Security Guards-These individuals are armed guards for Umbrella's public facilities, where uniformed soldiers might raise a few eyebrows.  Examples include the estate guards mentioned in the Keeper's Diary, and the guards that captured Claire in Paris. Rodrigo Juan Raval was the security chief for the Paris facility guards.

Special Forces-These highly-trained squads handle dangerous missions for Umbrella, such as recovering and/or transporting deadly B.O.W.'s and viruses.  They are heavily armed and outfitted for combat, though they aren't meant to routinely engage in direct frontal assaults.  Hunk and his team belong to this group.

Senior Military Officials-These extremely powerful individuals in Umbrella's military hierarchy don't belong to any specific units. Their role is to run the company's military facilities and command the soldiers residing there. They wear uniforms, unlike other high-level company executives (such as the hooded man at the end of Operation Mad Jackal).  Among the more prominent officers are Alfred Ashford and Commander Vincent Goldman.  In CV, there are a few other zombies in important-looking white officer uniforms.

Supervisors-These versatile, highly-trained spies handle covert operations for Umbrella.  They work alone, and can be sent into biohazardous areas where larger and more heavily-armed groups (such as the U.B.C.S.)would be quickly spotted, overwhelmed, and wiped out.  Supervisors are basically Umbrella's spies and assassins. They generally don't wear uniforms unless the mission calls for one. Nicholai Ginovaef is a Supervisor. Before he betrayed Umbrella, Albert Wesker probably was one also.

Cleaners-These genetically engineered soldiers are sent into biohazardous areas to wipe out all traces of virus infection, including any B.O.W.'s or witnesses.  Their role is similar to the U.B.C.S.  However, the U.B.C.S. is more of an army, meant to delay the spread of B.O.W.'s from very large-scale spills and rescue Umbrella employees from the area.  The Cleaners' job is to mop up all evidence, probably when the situation is small enough to cover up.  Consistent with this role, the Cleaners are genetically engineered to decompose into organic gases when killed, to leave nothing behind that can be traced back to Umbrella.

Enhanced Tyrants-As far as we know, the T-103 is the only one of Umbrella's super-soldiers that made it to mass-production. The T-103 has been successfully deployed in combat situations (RE3, against U.S. Special Forces), and in search, destroy, and/or recovery missions (RE2 and RES).  They're generally delivered to the site of their mission by helicopter, since they normally don't move very fast.

Zombie Suicide Squads-We don't actually see these guys working for Umbrella, but Wesker apparently brings a bunch of zombies with him when he invades Rockfort Island.  If Wesker and his organization are using units of zombie soldiers, I'm sure Umbrella is doing the same thing.  Wesker's zombies are the ones Chris meets on Rockfort Island. They wear darker uniforms than any of the soldier zombies Claire fights earlier.  Many have explosives strapped to their backs, which suggests they're meant to mindlessly go among their enemies and blow themselves up.
Umbrella Incorporated is a multi-billion dollar global conglomerate....It's pharmaceutical company serves as a front to hide its illegal activities from the world. For years White Umbrella have secretly been developing chemical, viral, and biological weapons for military purposes.Their power and influence is felt worldwide.Umbrella Inc. Has taken various measures to ensure its secrecy and maintain its base of operations. The company exerts political influence through its vast pool of financial resources.Umbrella Incoporated also persuades local authorities to look the other way by donating monetary funds to key personnel. They experiment on unwilling human subjects in hidden labs across the globe. They also employ various military units to eliminate all evidence of its illegal activities.Notable biological developments include the Progenitor virus,T-Virus,NE T-Virus,G-Virus and multiple Tyrant variants.

These are all the S.T.A.R.S. stationed in Raccoon City.  Alpha Team members are more experienced
and better-trained than Bravo Team.  I guess Brad Vickers is the exception that makes the rule.
