SO WHERE ELSE HAS AFTER THE BLUE BEEN USED
IN EDUCATION, ANYWAY?
This web site has details about how After The Blue has been used in high schools
and junior high schools in Vancouver, West Windsor-Plainsboro (NJ), and the Henry Hudson Regional School District (also NJ), but where else has it been used? All over North America! Following are some other examples of the use of the novel in education:
- Numerous schools throughout New Jersey, which is only natural, as the novel is set largely in New Jersey. Yet the novel has been widely used beyond New Jersey - not only in Vancouver,British Columbia, but also at such places as:
- Lakota Freshman School in Ohio
- New York, where a schoolteacher notified Brunswick Galaxy Press that he was
using After The Blue to teach satire to his freshman regents English students
- Carver-Smith Educational Cooperative, Minnesota
- Yellowstone Academy, Billings, Montana
- A school in Gonzales, Louisiana
- Southern Utah University (fall 2003 and spring 2004 semesters)
