Our Feathered Friend's is owned and operated by Guy Gaskins and Jerry Cobb. We have been in business for 14 years . We are a pet store specializing in hand raised baby parrots. We began breeding birds in our home, but soon discovered that more room was needed. The first shop originated in Wood River, Illinois. but has since moved to a larger shop in Edwardsville, Illinois.
We have 16 years of experience in breeding birds and handfeeding babies, from Parakeet's to Macaws, all babies are handfed and socialized. We encourage all of our customers with reserved babies, to come in often and play with them until they are weaned and ready to go home. We also offer support after the baby goes home and encourage our customers to call with any questions and concerns.
Our counter is usually full of people playing with their babies, or just coming in and sharing bird stories. A lot of our customers soon become friends. As all bird lovers know one is never enough !
