Demo Software For Macintosh

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

CLICK HER TO DOWNLOAD ==> Feedel MAC - DEMO SOFTWARE

1. Expand the file using Stuffit Expander or equivalent.

2. Make Sure You have System 7.0 and up.

3 QUIT ALL RUNNING APPLICATIONS

4. Copy the keyboard driver and the fonts from the Demo Folder into your System Folder.

Drag and drop them into the system folder.

(Or drag and drop GeezDemo File on to the System File within the System Folder and the

GeezDemo-Regular.suit file in the Fonts Folder of the System Folder.)

5. Go to the Apple Menu and choose Control Panel.

6. Double click on Keyboard.

7. A list of installed keyboard appears, choose the GeezDemo keyboard by clicking on it once.

8. Close the window

8. Open the word-processor of your choice and select the GeezDemo font.

9. To activate the Feedel keyboard press the Caps lock key.

10. Follow the instructions below to start typing your document.

 

 

Note: the Caps lock is like a switch between the English and the Ethiopic keyboard layout. When you need to type in English all you need to do is press the Caps lock again.

Typing in your favorite word processor

1. Activate your word processor.

2. Change the font to GeezDemo.

3. Activate the Geez keyboard, press the Caps lock key to turn it on.

4. Type the following to get a feel of typing.

Note: This is a demonstration software and only the following characters only work.

The equivalent keys shown are for Phonetic Keyboard Layout only.

 

 

Sample Text

A sample test called DemoWrite (Macwrite format) is attached. Open it from your favorite word processor and print to see the quality of the fonts. The quality of your print will depend on your printer's resolution.
