A Gardening Study Consultant has completed a series of four National Garden Clubs, Inc.’s Gardening Study Courses and keeps credentials updated by attending the required refresher courses. After four refreshers, the Consultant achieves Life Status. Council Meetings provide an opportunity for consultants to increase, and share, advanced horticulture knowledge for the benefit of themselves and local communities. A student is eligible to join the Council after successfully completing two Gardening Study Courses. Check “Calendar” page for next scheduled Council Meeting. DUES: $10 annually LANDSCAPE DESIGN COUNCILCHAIRMAN 2007-2009: Anne Madden annemadden1@comcast.net There are two meetings/trips scheduled per year. A Landscape Design Consultant has completed and passed the four National Garden Clubs, Inc.’s Landscape Design Study Courses. A minimum of 5 years must elapse and five refresher events taken before a Consultant is eligible to receive a Master Certification. A Consultant and /or Master Consultant is required to refresh credentials within 5 years from the previous certification to remain in good standing. Students who have successfully completed two of the four required Study Courses may join the Landscape Council by contacting the Treasurer. Check “Calendar” page for next scheduled Council Meeting. A service offered by the Council to member clubs is a variety of slide presentation programs on landscape topics for a $35 fee. Listing of Slides follows.
