SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS

 

Scholarship applicants must be legal residents of Maryland attending any accredited college/university in the United States; must major in Horticulture, Floriculture, Landscape Design, Botany, Forestry, Conservation, Agronomy, Plant Pathology, City Planning, Environmental Concerns, and/or allied subjects.   Scholarships are for 1-year.

 

 

Maryland Federation Life Membership Scholarship - As much as $2000, depends on availability of funds.   This is available annually to a qualified college/university or Graduate student at any level.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: May 1^st.

 

The Virginia P. Henry Scholarship – As much as $1000, depends on availability of funds.  This is available annually to a qualified undergraduate students enrolled in horticultural studies.   Criteria: ability, worthiness, determination.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: May 1^st.

 

 

Robert Lewis Baker Scholarship –This scholarship is to encourage the study of Ornamental Horticulture, and Landscape Design.   Scholarship awards may be up to $5000.   Applicants must be high school graduate, college and/or graduate students and a resident of Maryland.   They may attend any accredited college/university in the United States.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: June 30^th.
