Many hours were spent collecting links, sources and valuable information as I attempted to find a CURE! My hope is that I can present you with all the tools you need, so that you can make informed and educated decisions about the care of yourself or a loved one. I have always been surrounded by cancer: sister died of ovarian cancer at age 24, I got it at 19 (but am still kicking at age 28), lost a friend in May to Ewing's Sarcoma, and just sat bedside while my best friend got a stem cell transplant after 3 recurrences for NHL stage IV, b-cell....… I have done an extensive amount of research and am a member of several net/web postings regarding cancer(s). The best research is not always accomplished by doctors- I have helped several people get involved in clinical trials over the years, worked in Nuclear Medicine (PETDept) for a year and have become a huge advocate for awareness and research. Keep up the GREAT work, brainstorm, bounce ideas off of others (doctors, patients and researchers), and together we will solve the puzzle. We must share what we know! Anyhow, thank you for being proactive in your therapy and for sharing it with all of us. Your passion is contagious!
