The Original game is said to have been first played by Sir Albert Farkle(Farkel) in 1492 in Iceland. The game was played with just dice then and has survived for 500 years. Cards were added to the game & this added strategy to the game. The object of the game is to score 10,000 point to win. The cards also make it easier or harder to score points. The possibly exists that a player could get to the leader and turn the game around in some other players favor when the Vengeance's card is picked. The scoring is almost all counted in 50's and 100's. This is a great large number counting game for kids. The game has been called by many names before the cards were added. That Dice Game, 10,000, German Dice, Zilch, and Farkle. Cards and letters say that they love it better than that # one game out there. It comes with 6 dice, 54 draw cards and rules.
