What We Do
Utilizing cutting-edge technology, Global Focus Films brings the stories, imagery and social conditions of people around the world who are facing some of life's greatest challenges to individuals, activists, policymakers, educators and others in a position to impact positive social change based on our findings.
Goals & Objectives
1.  To synergistically create opportunities for local, national, and international grassroots organizations, individuals, policymakers, and public and private entities to collaborate and develop solutions to social issues, social injustices, and sustainable development through film, video, Internet streaming, and other modes of multimedia exposure; and that:

-  this be done through interdisciplinary collaboration;

-  those entities documented on film or video be truthfully represented and not unduly influenced by parties representing Global Focus Films;

-  the basic premise for creating such works be to reduce social stigma, cultural barriers, preventable illness, and other social ills as defined by the target group and audience;

-  projects increase and further possibilities for self-determination, social stability, cultural enhancement, and community well-being;

-  projects utilize and/or highlight available community resources with the intention of educating others about the roles and social objectives of each;

-  these works focus on established and successful models directed toward positive social change in comparative communities facing comparative issues;

-  such models have the capability of being replicated in target audience communities.
2.  That distribution of completed works be fulfilled in a timely manner; and that:

-  such opportunities include optimum distribution of completed works that can best benefit positive social change for those parties or institutions represented;

-  projects include educational packets, films, videos, and any other multimedia that might assist the goals and objectives of said project;

-  wherever possible, these packets be bilingual and culturally-specific;

-  these works and the processes that create them be used for capacity building and the creation and strengthening of infrastructure;

-  they serve to integrate diverse social, cultural, political, and class belief systems;

-  project distribution include outreach to public and private entities in urban, non-urban, and rural areas;

-  these same entities be developed as partners and leaders able to provide training, services, education, program development, implementation and evaluation based on models represented;

-  a concerted effort is made to post portions of projects via video and audio streaming on designated websites so that they be available to community leaders, policymakers, individuals, and organizations facing like issues globally;

-  a portion of all proceeds be relegated back to the programs represented in each project.
