Outside of torching, taking classes or teaching classes... my biggest passion is for collecting beautiful glasswork. 90% of my collection has been purchased with the remainder being gifted or traded for. If I had a nickel for every oh or ah, as folks look at the beauties...well......I'd more than likely buy another glass piece!

When visiting the FiredDesires Studio or my home, people are surprised to see the assortments of all the glass that I have collected over the years. Courtesy of the internet and having a website, you too can share in the "eye candy". However what you see here is certainly not all of it, these pages deal mainly with lampworking. I have collections of paperweights, marbles, Austrian crystal figures, blown glass figurines, egg weights, Russian gold/copper wheel engraved and lazer worked pieces too. Maybe someday I will get the energy to photograph and share these too.

I thank all these very talented artists for creating a work of art that I just couldn't resist and I take joy in knowing that everyday a new glass artist is born..that my glass collection will never be finished!
