Kyara giggled as Esheth splashed up water with her multi-toned tail. In response Chloryth flapped her four wings and sent large waves over to the other green. Esheth snorted as she paddled over the waves and ducked her head under water. Mikio hid her smile underneath her long-fingered hand. The two humans were sitting on the bank of the lake while their two dragons sported in the water.
"You know, what was supposed to be a quick dip has lasted for an hour now," remarked Kyara as Esheth came back up underneath Chloryth.
Mikio nodded. "Yes. Chloryth assured me that she only wanted to get her tail wet."
Kyara was about to say something else when another dragon glided down towards the lake. M*jora slid off of Dhum's dark hide as the lithe dragon slipped into the water. M*jora flopped down on the sand nearby Kyara and Mikio while Dhum paddled over to the two greens. "Nice looking dragons," remarked M*jora as he watched the greens.
"Thank you," said Mikio.
"Ummm... thanks," muttered Kyara. She knew M*jora and Dhum's reputation. Dhum's favorite activity was always a nice flight frenzy and a normal mating flight here and there. He was supposedly very good at catching females and very willing to try.
Dhum had joined in the splashing games now. M*jora was watching Chloryth intently. "You know... if I'm not mistaken I would think that Corrith was close to rising."
"Its Chloryth," snapped Kyara automaticlly.
Mikio looked uncomfortable. "Ah. I see. I will certainly ask her about it."
M*jora nodded. "You should. Wouldn't want Dhum to be the only one who knew that she was having her flight, would you?"
Mikio mumbled something and Kyara narrowed her eyes and stood up. "Chloryth is none of your business. She isn't in your Crescent and niether am I! Come on, lets go, Mikio."
Mikio stood up and nodded as they both called their dragons. Dhum looked a bit disappointed as the two dragonesses left the water and M*jora a bit surprised. Without a backward glance Mikio and Kyara left. "Don't worry," muttered Kyara to Mikio. "When she flies I'll make sure that there are more dragons than that stud there."
Mikio nodded weakly. "Thank you Kyara," she said as they walked on.
