Butterflies, skippers and moths. Lepidoptera

Butterflies and moths are very common flower visitors and pollinate some flowers. Their long tongues enable them to collect nectar from long throated flowers that other insects cannot reach.
Brush-footed butterflies: Nymphalidae
Great spangled fritillary  (Speyeria cybele)
Mourning cloak (Nymphalis antiopa)
Pearl Crescent (Phyciodes tharos)
Not much of a flower visitor, it prefers other foods.
