THIS PAGE WAS CREATED TO GIVE INFORMATION ABOUT THE BRAVE WOMEN THAT HAVE SERVED IN THE MILITARY AND TO LET OTHERS KNOW THAT "SHE SERVED TOO". TRADITIONALLY IN OUR HISTORY, WOMEN VETERANS HAVE NOT BEEN RECOGNIZED OR TAUGHT IN SCHOOLS. THEY HAVE NOT BEEN RECOGNIZED IN ANY CAPACITY. THIS PAGE IS ALSO DEDICATED THOSE THAT HAVE GIVEN THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE SERVING OUR COUNTRY.

COURAGE IS THE WILL TO SHAPE OUR WORLD WHEN IT'S EASIER TO LET SOMEONE ELSE DO IT FOR US.
COURAGE IS THE POWER TO STEP FORWARD AND LEAD WHEN IT IS EASIER TO FOLLOW.


Women have served in all wars and conflicts since the beginning of time.  They have shown tremendous amounts of COURAGE!  Whether they be African - American, Hispanic, Native-American or Caucasian. All have served their country with PRIDE, DIGNITY AND HONOR !
WOMEN VETERANS HAVE ALWAYS VOLUNTEERED TO SERVE THEIR COUNTRY.

VOLUNTEERS ALL !

THERE ARE STILL WOMEN VETERANS THAT ARE HURTING STILL AND THEY DO NOT KNOW THAT THERE IS HELP AVAIABLE FOR THEM. IF YOU WERE ASSAULTED OR SEXUALLY HARRASSED WHILE IN THE MILITARY, CONTACT YOUR NEAREST VET CENTER OR VETERANS HOSPITAL. One of the projects I do in educating others about Women' Military History and the sacrifices they have made for our country, is to do displays at community fairs. business, and veterans events..  My "Women Who Served" display is supported STRICTLY from donations from friends.  I don't know what I would do without the support of my friends who believe in me!  Last March 2000, I was privilaged to be a part of, Walt Disney's First EVER Salute to Women In The Military,  March 9, 2000!   With the help of the All Women's National  Navy Alliance,Veterans Association based in Orlando, Florida, and several of Disney's  Employee Women Veterans, we had displays of uniforms and pictures of women in all capacities in the military.  Even Mickey Mouse came to help us salute the contributions and the sacrifices of women that served our country when needed.

On March 23, 2000, Tampa Disney Reservation Center, held their, "Women That Served," celebration as well as a part of Women's History Month.  I personnaly would like to SALUTE DISNEY, for recognizing the contributions of women in the military!

THIS IS ME IN THE ARMY,  and as usual we were always digging a hole for some purpose.  I was in Ft. Chaffe, Arkansas working with the Vietnamese refugees that were fleeing Vietnam.  I also served with "Operation Baby Lift" in April 1975, rescuing orphans from Vietnam before the fall of Saigon.
