INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Scaredy Kat Rats! My main goal in breeding is to produce sweet and healthy pet rats. We will only breed a few litters every few months. That way, we can properly socialize every baby.
NOTE--My rats will only be sold as pets. I will not sell them as feeders or to be used for experiments. Don't even ask.
UPDATES---Janurary 31
All my babies are researved. I won't be planning any new litters until around late March or mid April.

My Views On Culling
I will not cull any of my rats. Just because an animal isn't show quality doesn't mean it's inferior. Animals shouldn't be born just to win ribbons. Animal shows are okay, but that's not the most important thing. Reponsible breeders will not breed their animals with only the thought of a shiny blue ribbon. They put health and temperment above looks. I got one of my cats from the animal shelter. When I picked him out, he was scrawny and ugly. Now, he;s my favorite cat. He's very sweet. He lets my rats crawl all over him. That's what make a good pet. My cat is very handsome now, but that's not why I adopted him. Looks aren't everything.
