The Fountain Hobby Center was founded on January 1, 1947. We opened as a Soda Fountain serving "Brown Cow Shakes" and "Cherry Cokes", Sundaes and Ice Cream Cones to our customers. We were also the first in the area to have a Custard Machine. Remember the "Good Ole' Days".
In 1958 we moved to Charleston's West Side and fullfilled the need for a full service Hobby and Craft store.
Through the years we have also incorporated in our store a wide variety of unusual merchandise including, Costumes and Theatrical Supplies, Coin and Stamp Supplies, Games and a Photo Lab.
After three generatrions, we are still happy to supply our customers and future customers with their day-to-day Hobby and Craft needs.
