My Beaded Bowls/Vases

My interest in beading grew to these bowls. I found the glass bowls in clear and blue at Wal Mart, for only 79 cents. The neck like shape of these worked perfectly!!! Same store, they had smaller glass votive candle holders that fit perfectly inside of them. You should see how the beads glow when the candle is lit. At night the pattern of the beads flicker light all over the walls and ceiling of room. (If you can not tell I am a candle freak too lol.)

The vases are beaded with glass delica beads. This pattern is hanging like a skirt. The thread used is very sturdy nylon thread, but you must be careful to center your candle or it will melt the thread. A friend of mine found out the hard way. :O(
