Mary E. Wells Alumni Report

The funds voted by the general committee have been donated to Wells Jr. High, Southbridge High and Jacob Edwards Library in the amount of $2000 each. The schools will use the funds to update current material. Jacob Edwards Library is using the donation to preserve the history of Mary E. Wells High School.

There is an exhibit at the library of the class pictures and other photos which are being sent in by alumni from our three day reunion weekend. More are being added on an ongoing basis. The exhibit is well worth a visit!!

Help to preserve the history!!!

We have had MEWHS yearbooks from the 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60 and 61 donated to the library as part of the compiling and preserving of the school history. The history of Southbridge is currently being updated and our high school and it's graduates are an important part of it. Alumni wishing to donate yearbooks and old pictures should send them to: Director of Jacob Edwards Library, 236 Main St., Southbridge, MA 01550 Please label all pictures with dates as well as identifying the people and subjects.
