EVIDENCE OF INTELLIGENT DESIGN ON ANCIENT MARS

SEEKING A UNIVERSAL KEY TO HIGHER CONSCIOUSNESS

While pursuing an M.A. degree in Public Address and Group Communication from Texas Tech University, on March 6, 1973, my normal mode of consciousness was radically shifted during a highly structured thought process involving the visualization of geometric images. The specific content caused my brain to generate a simple mental image which I decided to intentionally "manipulate." That action triggered an Out of Body and Mystical Illumination Experience . The profound content of this interlude and its psychological impact motivated my quest for a scientific explanation of the triggering mechanism, which I finally solved conceptually and mathematically, after twenty years of eclectic research, on October 27, 1993.

Within a few days I discovered Richard Hoagland's controversial 1987 book, THE MONUMENTS OF MARS, with its grainy images of objects photographed by NASA in 1976. I liked his hypothesis that Intelligent Beings had spent time and effort to construct enormous objects at precise locations chosen to inscribe a Scientific Message to be decoded by a future, otherworld civilization. The potential translators must first be capable of placing a recording instrument in orbit around the Red Planet and capturing a view of the significant Cydonia region from directly overhead.

That criterion was met by Humans in 1976, which resulted in the Viking Orbitor photographs and subsequent controversy. I purchased a set of the Cydonia negatives from NASA and started with the basic premise that Geometry is a Universal Language. Specific non-linear ratios relate the five Regular Polygons — Triangle, Square, Pentagon, Hexagon, Octagon — to each other. These ratios also relate the five polyhedrons commonly called the Platonic Solids — Tetrahedron, Cube, Octahedron, Dodecahedron, Icosahedron — to each other when sequentially "nested." Each of these "regular" 3-dimensional figures have equal length sides and the faces of each solid have identical internal angles.

I wondered if the hypothesized "Message on Mars" might be the equivalent of a Higher Dimensional Unified Field Equation, which is what I believed my newly constructed Theoretical Model involved. Therefore, I attempted to correlate my "Geometric Model of the Key to Cosmic Consciousness" with the “anomalous objects” identified by computer imaging experts as “artificial constructions.” Because my "Blueprint of Cosmic Consciousness" is based upon the relationships of the square roots of 2, 3 and 5 to the irrational ratio PI and to the transcendental ratio PHI (The Golden Mean), I examined hundreds of design possibilities from the perspectives of Sacred Geometry, whose premises and conceptual parameters have been associated with “Cosmic Man” in religious texts for at least 6,000 years.

CONCLUSIONS FROM ANALYSIS OF HUGE MARKERS ON MARS

It can now be proved that the five previously specified Universal Ratios decipher the Geometric Matrix encoded at Cydonia. Any person willing to examine a sequence of simple diagrams can comprehend these proofs, which involve no mathematical skills beyond comprehension of the simple formula which relates the three sides of any Right Triangle: the sum of the squares of the two sides which form the right angle equals the square of the third side opposite that angle. This formula, although attributed to Pythagoras, was known by ancient geometers as long ago as records exist.

It is both ironic and paradoxical that the fundamental Geometric Proof that Intelligent Beings lived on Mars millions of years ago was included in the visual symbolism recorded in the holy scriptures of Earth's most ancient religions, including the Christian Bible. No longer need intelligent persons be put off by the opinion of the late Carl Sagan that “anyone can see the face of Jesus on a tortilla chip” nor blindly accept NASA’s public stance that “the Face on Mars is just a trick of light and shadow.”

The specific nature of this Geometric Proof, while not dependent upon Crop Circle theories, is consistent with the internal ratios they reflect. My analysis parallels the type of Geometric Proof offered by Prof. Stanley McDaniel regarding small mounds in the "City" area (accessible on the Internet), but is related to a much larger area of Cydonia and includes all the other Markers.

My analysis does include some history of the associations between Geometry and "God" concepts across 6000 years of diverse cultures. That fundamental "relationship" can be symbolically represented by a geometric figure called the "Squared Circle." The geometry of this Universal Symbol is reflected in The Great Pyramid, Stonehenge and in The New Jerusalem Diagram, which is repeatedly recorded in the Bible. The universal foundation of all sciences can be encoded by means of Circumscribed Tetrahedral Geometry, beginning with a Square in a Circle.

My analysis isn't a rehash of the unverifiable speculations and conspiracy theories bandied about in print, in videos and on radio talk shows. My CYDONIA SOLUTION isn't derived from the analysis of the "D&M" Pyramid by Erol Torun, nor from Hoagland's published conclusions. It can be verified by any geometer, mathematician, and photo analyst. While my Geometric Proof of Intelligent Design might add an additional dimension to the "Ancient Astronaut" hypothesis formulated by Erich von Daniken and elaborated by Zechariah Sitchen and others, it is not intended to confirm or promote their specific speculations, nor support various UFO abduction theories.

We must all begin dealing responsibly with the astounding personal, political and religious implications of an easily verifiable PROOF that millions of years ago Intelligent Beings left a Message on Mars. I challenge you to refute the only logical answer to the most portentious question Humankind has ever asked — "Are Human Beings the only form of Intelligent Life in the Universe?"

In a forthcoming book I not only prove this answer, I also reveal the most important reason the GOLDEN MEAN RATIO is called "The Divine Proportion" — it is the KEY to Higher Consciousness. My research also reveals the direct relationship between the Matrix encoded on Mars and a simple meditation which can be used to trigger an experience of Cosmic Consciousness. It is a method similar to techniques used by Hindu Holy Men, Egyptian Pharaohs, Greek Seers, the Builders of Stonehenge and by living persons who can induce the Shamanic Trance State.
