History
The Clubs 1st. President was John Ciaccio and dates back to the 1980's. Each of the Sub Divisions at WBV had an area captain responsible for getting the word out to those living in the various communities. The 1991 records I have show the following pioneers:

Carl LaMantia served as President the longest having passed the baton to me in January 2001.My successor is out there and I hope he/she volunteers soon. I am sure the above names bring back memories to a lot of you and most important of all a lot of the people mentioned still attend and are active in the Club. I have shown the ones I know in bold typeface.
It is my personal hope that our Association will eventually take over several of the parties that we have been hosting and in that way the duties of the Club volunteers can be dimished. We have done this with the 2001/2002 New Years Eve Party and that has proven to be a good move.
It is also my desire that email will allow us to perform the function that the Captains did in the early days. For this to happen we need your email addresses, so please use the link on this web page to send me your email address. Thank you all for your continued participation.
P.S. Phyllis and I were at the Phoenix Open and had our UPS picture taken. Thought it would convey our "young at heart" motif.
