Eilene Federico Family Child Care is a family child care home licensed by the
State of California. (Facility No. 10 3902053) I am located in Fresno,
California near Shaw and Valentine.
Licensed Child Care Provider
My name is Eilene Federico, and I am the licensed provider of a family child
care home in Fresno, California. I have lived in the Fresno area for a little
over 5 years. I am 27 years old and I have two children. My daughter is
almost 3 years old, and my son is 11 months old. I have been a
stay-at-home-mom since the birth of my daughter. My children and I enjoy reading
books, playing games, taking walks outside, and having fun with family and
friends.
I am the organizer for the
Fresno Moms Yahoo!
Group, connecting Fresno moms and their children for play
dates and other activities. My husband, Chris, has recently completed vocation
training in Computer Maintenance and Multimedia in San
Jose, and has begun seeking employment in his chosen field.. He is home evenings
and weekends, and some time during the day. Of course, I think my husband is wonderful, and he really enjoys
spending time together with our children. He is the only other person living at
our home, and therefore, has had the fingerprint and background clearance which
is required by Community Care Licensing.
Child Care

Family Child Care is a small family child care home, which means that there will
never be more than 6 children being cared for at any time. The home has been
inspected for safety, and I am certified in CPR and First Aid by the Red Cross.
As a mother, I know how it feels to leave the well-being of your most precious
children in someone else's hands. This is why one of the most important of my
duties as a child's caretaker is to stay in tune with each parents wishes for
their child. I will work closely with each parent to keep them informed of their
child's development. We will work together in addressing any concerns for their
child.
I know that all
children are special and unique. I hope to provide all children in my care with
loving guidance, and a safe nurturing environment where they can learn, grow,
and have fun. After all, I know how it feels to be a parent, and that is why I
will extend every effort to do for your child what I would want a child care
provider to do for my children.
Preschool Curriculum
Eilene Federico
Family Child Care will begin a curriculum in September which fulfills the Head
Start domain elements, standards, and indicator guidelines and is consistent
with the National Association for the Education of Young Children Guidelines for
curriculum content. Our curriculum includes Letters, Numbers, Colors and Shapes,
as well as introduction to American Sign Language and Spanish. The children will
have access to hands-on activities to promote math skills as well as development
of fine motor skills for writing. Arts and crafts, book activities, circle time
and dramatic play will also be incorporated in the curriculum.
