DEAR LOVE
While I am alone, I am not lonely.
Although your presence is void,
It's not as if I don't have your near.
I taste for you as the sun rises
And long for you as the sun sets,
Yet my life is not empty.
I know how you live and how you love.
I look forward to participating
In life with you.
I know everything there is to know about you
As I have identified your qualities,
And you are a man of rare quality.
While I need not search for you in crowds,
I hope and pray...each day,
That this be the day we meet.
I embrace you in my heart
And support you in my soul.
I pray...
That soon you will be ready for me
As I am, now, ready for you.
Until we meet my love...
My dear, sweet love,
May your life be filled with joy.
For you are worth all the good
Life has to offer.
In closing...
I shall say farewell,
But not good-bye.
For tomorrow will come,
And when it does
We shall be together
For always and forever...
Even as we are together and now.
