The Song of Love
   SONG OF LOVE

        In the silence of yourself
I heard the much feared love...
        Fear not diminishing love,
        Rather accentuating with power
        The love in heart.

        I heard the words
        And felt the song
        Of love you harbor within.
And in the hearing, I say
        We are truly in harmony
        With love shared within.

I sit not in judgment of your choices,
Nor do I lay upon you
        The yoke of conditional love.
Your fear is true to you,
        And the feeding of it
        Shall manifest itself as true.

Truth, however, is oft times contrary
To that which we worship as true.
When what is true is released
        And sent on its way
        Will truth have room
        To surface in unabound clarity.

Love is deep and touches no rules or lines:
Needs no regulations and surpasses time.
        Love is sustained and contained
        In itself and of itself.

        I've had so much more,
In the little of our talk
Than the talking of it could offer.
I've had so much more love
In the little of our earthly expression
Than outwardly expressing it could offer.

I've loved you before the birth of your body
Then it went deep and was good.
How can it be any other way now?
The undoubted knowing of, as I do this,
        Is sometimes named wisdom.

We were one long before together,
And together we will be one apart.
        My love for you is like my soul;
        Ever living and undying.
Can this be the song of love?

If you choose fear over love,
I will not love you less.
Should you choose love over fear,
        You will love yourself more.
