Welcome to "F & R Quarter Horse". We are located in Kingman, Kansas, about 60 miles west of Wichita, KS. Eva and I (Don) have dreamed of being able to breed and raise horses most of our lives, and it has just been the last 8 years that we have been able to put our goals and plans into action, with acquiring the type of mares that we wanted, deciding on the type of stallions to breed to, and with the location to put it all together. Up until the present time we did not stand our own stud, but recently acquired "Prophets Lil Man" (see our "Stallions" Page) and we have a young Hollywood Dunit-bred stallion that we plan on using in the future too. Prior to this we have used several top quality stallions that you can view on our "Stallions" page. Our goal is to breed and promote Quarter Horses that have the athletic ability and strength to compete in mutiple events from reining to working cowhorse with the speed for barrels and the grace to stand at halter. We maintain a small, but select, group of quality broodmares sired from the bloodlines of POCO BUENO, DOC O'LENA, HOLLYWOOD GOLD, and HOLLYWOOD DUNIT. It is our belief that through breeding outstanding performance bloodlines with foundation Quarter Horses that we can achieve horses that also have the Buckskin, Dun, and Grulla colors.
