Passover Funology

April 28 - May 4, 2002

Passover is an 8 day Jewish holiday that celebrates the delivery of the Jews from Egyptian bondage. This lunar holiday is celebrated on the 14th day of the Jewish month of Nisan. Jews around the world welcome this holiday by participating in a Seder, the retelling of the Exodus from Egypt. As part of the preparation for the Passover holiday, houses are cleaned and all bread products are removed from the home. Special foods are eaten, specifically matzoh.
