It is my view that Jesse Hicks/Hix of Bedford Co. Va. & Breckinridge Co. Ky, is somehow related to the 8 Hicks/Hix siblings in Greenbrier - Monroe - Kanawha counties of Va./W.Va. (Perhaps a 1st cousin).
Two of the Hicks siblings from my line of Va./W.Va. Hicks family married Jarrett's
Here we have the families of Jarrett & Hicks in Bedford Co. Va. - Breckinridge Co. Ky & Greenbier- Monroe - Kanawha counties of Va./ W.Va..
In Bedford Co. Va. the Hicks/Hix - Board - Dowell - Jarrett - Meador - Leftwich families are all intermarried. As they are in Breckinridge Co. Ky.
I find it amazing that Jesse Hicks/Hix names a son Leftwich Hicks/Hix as James Leftwich of Bedford Co. Va. ends up in Kanawha Co. Va./W.Va and his wife is Mary Hix. They have son's Archellis - Morris - Joel Leftwich. Joel marries Hannah Hicks/Hix a granddaughter of William Hicks and his wife Hannah Jarrett. William & Hannah (Jarrett) Hicks of Greenbrier & Kanawha counties also named a son Archellis after Archellis Morriss a brotherinlaw of Hannah. Hannah (Jarrett) Hicks is the dau. of David Jarrett who for a 2nd wife married Susan Hicks sister to Hannah's husband William Hicks.
Yet another pos. link is the Huddleston family of Bedford Co. Va. They also settle in Kanawha co. Va./W.Va. where Milly Huddleston marries David Hicks son of William & Hannah (Jarrett) Hicks.
