Dr. Johnson is Assistant Professor of Theology and Assistant Director of Honors and Faculty Development at John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and secretary for the Conference on Christianity and Literature.  His first book, PRISONER OF CONSCIENCE: JOHN BUNYAN ON SELF, COMMUNITY, AND CHRISTIAN FAITH, was published in December 2003 by Paternoster Press.  His second book, HISTORICAL DICTIONARY OF THE PURITANS, was published in the summer of 2007 by Scarecrow Press.  Ordering information for both can be found at amazon.com.
