Detroit Based Greek Band
Specializing in Festivals, have been performing since 1963 in over 38 states, Canada and Greece. Have 10 recordings with the latest CD, "VASTA HIERIA". Over the years the Rhodians have recieved standing ovations from Non-Greek crowds in places such as Las Vegas, St. Louis, Kansas City, many MICHIGAN cities, Florida, Baltimore, Washington, Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, Phoenix, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Illinois, Ohio, Canada, and more. Astounding audiences wherever they have performed. The "master" clarinetist George Karpathios, is the last remainding original Rhodian, is also the leader, manager composer and arranger of the bands music. The newest members are Vasili Gerazounis on bouzouki and Nick Karpathios lead singer and percussionist. The drummer, Mike Racette is a master and his instrument, blending Latin with Greek gives the band a "fresh" new sound.
