Bill is a seasoned percussionist with decades of
professional experience as a performer and music
educator. He has performed in literally every major
concert venue in the country. He is currently the
drummer for Tim McGraw, Country Music's 2001 Entertainer of the Year.
Bill's professional activities include multiple appearances on
American Country Music Awards, Video Blockbuster
Awards, TNN Music Awards, David Letterman Show, Jay
Leno Show, Rosie O'Donnell Show, Jerry Lewis
Telethon, Prime Time Country.
Bill holds the following product endorsements:

The following national publications have featured Billy Thunder in their articles: Modern Drummer (1998, 2001), Country Weekly (1999, 2000), DW News, (1998).
Currently, and over the past seven years, Billy has provided the Thunder for Tim McGraw's live performances. He has come to know Tim and his wife, Faith, so well that Bill appears in "Perfect Harmony" - Tim & Faith's Story, and in Tim's mother's book, "McMom".
When Bill is not touring with Tim McGraw, he is providing
private percussion lessons or holding drum clinics. He
participates in many annual charitable events. Bill is also active in the D.A.R.E. program which educates children about the dangers of drug
abuse.
