The Kansas City Northland Good Sam's meeting for December was at the Hometown Buffett. The room was almost full. Rigs not represented were the Bahs', Richardson's, Vincent's, Shepard's. Carolyn Riddle was not present as her son was in the hospital. Jim and Frances are doing better.
Members brought books and magazines to exchange, food items to be given to Sheppard's favorite food pantry. Jim was recouperating from surgury so Vern Myers collected the items for them.
We had our regular Christmas Card exchange and made arrangements to get cards to those not present. The club received greetings from Don and Louise Lambert, former members.
After our regular meeting we enjoyed a wonderful buffett and we all had what we had been craving since our last visit.
As with Time Magazine, Our thanks go to YOU  the hosts of this meeting.
There was no 50/50 drawing, maybe we should take two next time.

Member’s Directory
The 2007 directory is in the making, those at the meeting were asked to review their entries and make additions or corrections. We hope to have the directory completed before the February Meeting. If you have any changes please let us know ASAP.

Wagonmaster reported the next meeting will be at Golden Oaks on January 13, 2007 with Otises and Riddles as hosts. The group discussed going to Wallace State Park in July 2007.  The criteria for reserving the State Park has changed during the last year and it would be difficult to secure the proper number of sites. Other options was discussed. A motion was made by Virgil Riddle to rule out going to Wallace State Park in July 2007 and for the wagon master to check out other parks available including Pony Express. Seconded by Richard Shields. Motion carried.

The donation of a tree to the Lathrop Antique Show Grounds was discussed, however, a decision still has not been made. Tri-River was invited to assist with this project and they declined.

Paul read the newsletter from the State Director. The 2007 Samboree will be Mardi Gras Missouri Style.

Motion to adjourn by Ramona Grasmick, seconded by Jean Morgan. Motion carried.

Respectfully submitted,
