Annie, My Angel...

Last night I had a dream
that I was visited by an angel

Fire danced in her eyes
her eyes had such a sparkle

The light of a thousand candlesticks
beamed around her
And she moved with the grace of a balerina

I could feel myself drawn to her
To touch her was like
Touching heaven

I felt her reach into my heart
with such tenderness
only God could fathom

Last night I was visited by an Angel

And this morning
I awoke..
and my Angel..'Gentle Annie' was Still here
