"There is an old American Indian legend that when a human dies there is a bridge they must cross to enter into heaven. At the head of that bridge awaits every animal that human encountered during their lifetime. The animals, based upon what they know of this person, decide which humans may cross the bridge.... and which are turned away."

"What is Death?"

 by Henry Scott Holland

(1847-1918), former Canon of St. Paul's Cathedral:

Death is nothing at all.

I have only slipped away into the next room.

I am I and you are you.

Whatever we were to each other,

that we still are.

Call me by my old familiar name.

Speak to me in the easy way

which you always used.

Put no difference in your tone.

Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.

Laugh as we always laughed

at the little jokes we enjoyed together.

Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.

Let my name be ever the household word

that it always was.

Let it be spoken without affect,

without the trace of a shadow on it.

Life means all that it ever meant.

It is the same that it ever was.

There is absolutely unbroken continuity.

Why should I be out of mind

because I am out of sight?

I am waiting for you,

for an interval,

somewhere very near,

just around the corner.

All is well.

The Soul of Your Pet: Evidence for the Survival of Animals After Death

The Soul of Your Pet: Evidence for the Survival of Animals After Death

Please use this link to visit Barnes and Noble.

Book Review The readable version of Excedrin for the hurting heart. ..........losing my wonderful little companions brought me down to the pits. I was in terrible emotional pain that I felt there could be no relief for. Knowing that they will go to Heaven certainly soothes the soul, but I needed something to let me know that my little dogs are ok now. Reading about life after life for people gave me comfort, but I wanted some proof about animals as well. THE SOUL OF

YOUR PET gave me that. So many people have seen pet spirits. It's amazing. When you read about more than one or two people seeing a ghost pet at the same time it's pretty convincing. When other pets see it too, and it turns into a literal hair-raising experience for them, that's pretty convincing as well! Since I read this book and shared the experience with some friends and other people I have found out that a few of them have had some similar ones as well! It seems as if they were just waiting to hear from someone else that they weren't going crazy! A couple of them have had several experiences. I want to express my appreciation to Barnes and Noble for having immediate shipping; another site I went to has a long waiting period, and charges more as well!  ~A reader's review~
