I am a gamer (for many years now) and I have tried various game sheets over the years.
I tried the vinyl game mats (megamat) with the messy water cleanup ... and don't write on it with a permanent marker ... it will never come off without taking the lines off!
I tried using big sheets of paper (lots of paper) ... useable only once if you draw blast radii on it with anything except pencils.

Care Instructions:

• Do not crease, fold, spindle, or mutilate.
• When not in use, keep the game sheet loosely rolled up and secured with a rubber band or stored in the cardboard tube or container.
• If the game sheet develops a curl to it, roll it the opposite way and store it. This should return it to its uncurled shape.
• USE ONLY DRY-ERASABLE MARKERS (EXPO Recommended).
• Write only on the side indicated.
• Use a good felt eraser or dry-erase eraser to remove the dry erasable marks. A paper towel (shirt, dice bag, finger, etc.) will also work.
• If a permanent marker is accidentally used on the sheet, go over the mark with a dry-erasable marker and then erase as usual. If this does not work, use the EXPO dry-erase marker board spray cleaner.
• Dry-erase marker board spray cleaner can be used to clean the dry-erase side of the sheet.
• The game sheet squares or hexes can best be seen if the sheet is placed on a light colored surface (white table cloth, light wood table, etc.)
