How to Properly Save The Skins
What You Need
In order to save the skins, you'll need to have the SimShow* installed on your computer. You can download that on The Sims Website.
What To Do
Highlight the File Name below the picture that I provide on this site, and then right click on the highlighted file name and then click copy. Right click your mouse when the arrow is on the Skin you want to save. Than go up to "Save Picture As..." and click on it. Then the Save Picture window will come up. at the top it says "Save in" and to the right of that is a pull down menu, click that.  Than go to (C:) and click on it. Then move the bar over to the left untill you reach Program Files folder, double click on it.  Then move the bar over a little bit untill you reach the Maxis Folder, double click on it.  Then double click on the SimShow folder. Then double click on the GameData folder.  Then double click on the Textures folder. OK now you are in the right place to save your skin.  Look down at the bottom of the Save Picture window, and you'll find some thing like this...
File name:
Save as type:
Then if there is already a name in the File name box, then highlighted it and then right click on the highlighted name and then click on paste. if there isn't a file name in the File name box then just right click in the box and paste the proper file name.

Then below the File name box is the Save as type box. Make sure you save it as a Bitmap file. Now you click the Save button.

You can then go to SimShow and find the skin there then import the skin into the game! And if the skin doesn't show up in in SimShow, or it's screwed up, yell at the top of your lungs and then E-mail me at GgdNukemPB for help.
