Praline Sweet Potatoes
PRALINE SWEET POTATOES

This holiday specialty is so rich. I remember making it in high school when Mother would let me help with the Thanksgiving dinner. It’s easy, and very good. A small helping goes a long way...


1 - 29 oz. can yams, drained (NOT in syrup)

1/3 cup pecans, chopped

1/3 cup coconut, shredded

1/3 cup packed brown sugar

3 Tbs. flour

3 Tbs. melted butter

Combine all ingredients except yams in a small bowl, mixing well. Mash and drain yams; place in baking dish, and pour pecan mixture over them. Bake at 350 degrees until brown and bubbly, about 20-25 minutes.
