Dear Member and Friends:
Welcome to our 2008-09 annual fund raising campaign for the G/L Community Trust Fund and the Coalition of organizations that benefit from this appeal.
Once a year we ask for your help and kindness with a donation that will benefit the entire GLBT community in Southeastern Wisconsin. Listed on the “Your Choice” card are the organizations within the coalition that we support. Many others groups not listed, also benefit through special request by donors such as you. In addition grants are made to worthy projects and programs and not to fly by night creations.
This year we are pleased to welcome the “GAMMA” organization to the G/L Trust Fund's Coalition. Gamma has just celebrated over 30 years of service to the GLBT community. More information about them and their newsletter can be found at www.milwakeegamma.com
Gamma and several of the other organizations and groups within the coalition have been providing wonderful services for our community. Unfortunately many of them do not have the resources to do fund raising appeals and depend on the generous donations from individuals like you.
Last year we were able to raise over $11,100.00 and give assistance to sixteen groups and programs in our area. Milwaukee's metropolitan area dose not have many foundations or major donors to support the GLBT community as some cities do. This is why your donation, either small or large, makes an great impact in fostering positive change for GLBT people.
We need to thank the many volunteer's and dedicated individuals that do a tremendous job in our community. Join me in thanking them, and help us in our fund raising drive. Everyone should be doing something to ensure a health and vital community. What ever you can afford to give today will be greatly appreciated.

Community Interest
In 2007 the Trust Fund was able to give assistance to Sixteen groups and programs with grants and gifts totaling over $11,100.00. Over the years the Trust Fund has distributed $ 78,000.00 to the GLBT community.
Below are listed the organizations that have received gifts or grants during 2007.
ARCW Food Pantry, BeatD Clinic, Gay Art's Center, Gay Peoples Union, Gay Youth Group Milwaukee, G/L Building Fund, G/L Community Endowment Fund, Milwaukee Counseling Center, Men's Voice Milwaukee, Metropolitan Community Church, Milwaukee Pride Parade, Sage/Milwaukee, Galano Club,Gay Fathers Group, and WISCRAD.
The G/L Community Trust Fund receives no government support to help in our work. This is why we depend on community support from you.
