HISTORY OF THE CONGREGATION:
* Garreth & Barbara begin attending the church on Cemetery Road in 1997.
* Garreth L. Clair began working with the congregation as preacher on January 1, 1998.

* The congregation will celebrate its 48th anniversary on September 6, 2008.

We begin our 11th year with the church here on Cemetery Road. We pray for the church here and for all the faithful in the central Ohio area, may we build together the cause of Christ in the area with zeal and sound teaching.

SERVING GOD AND MAKING THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE:

TRUTH FOR TODAY ..............

1. CHRIST'S INSTRUCTION TO US:
"I charge thee in the sight of God, and of Christ Jesus, who shall judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: - Preach the word; be urgent in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching" {2 Timothy 4:1, 2}.

2. IS IT STILL POSSIBLE TODAY? "INDEED!"
"... These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also" {Acts 17:6}.

3. PROOF OF OUR LOVE FOR GOD:
"If ye love me, keep my commandments" {John 14:15). "Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free" {John 8:32}.

4. THE GREATEST ACT OF LOVE EXPRESSED TO ANOTHER PERSON:
Whenever a Christian presents the "Truth of the Gospel" to another person with the intention of converting them to Christ from the world or a false religion. Such action on the part of a Christian is a clear demonstration of their love for that person - for unless the person is converted before they die {physically) he/she will be eternally lost. In the heart of the true Christian he/she is expressing their love for you whenever they attempt to teach you the gospel.
"Love thy neighbor as thyself" - Matthew 19:19
"Rendering vengeance to them that know not God, and to them that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ" {2 Thess 1:8}.

5. UNDERSTANDING:
"Understanding is needed in the heart of all people. Without understanding we cannot grasp the vast and far reaching effects of the Bible. The contents of the Bible is the greatest information available to humankind about how to get along with one another. We need that kind of understanding. Indeed, we need to get along with one another but that peace and unity is to be based on the Word of God and not on some better felt than understood philosophy.

6. CONSIDER THIS about terrorist religions:
Any world religion that intentionally urges its converts to murder other people for any cause cannot be allowed by civilized peoples of the earth to survive. We encourage everyone in the world to turn to the God of the Bible {i.e., the 66 books consisting of the Old and New Testaments}, learn of Him and conform to His instruction for a world of peace, love, and security for all.
