1st Timers, for those who have never attended a UOA Conference. This session is helpful in getting you acclimated to all the wonderful activities that UOA has to offer.
Singles and the Young at Heart, a discussion of issues of being single and living with an ostomy. Get acquainted with others who share your concerns.
Basic Colostomy, Ileostomy, Urostomy surgeries, problems, and solutions.
Ask the ET, an informative question-and-answer period that gives the attendee an opportunity to ask an Enterostomal Therapist any questions that is of concern. Ask the Doctor, an informative question-and-answer that gives the attendee an opportunity to ask a physician questions.
Many more sessions, including alternate medicine; Gay and Lesbian Ostomates, colon cancer, and continent procedures.

The always popular ConvaTec Party, will be held Thursday, August 15th from 7–11:00PM (We’ve given them a lot of money during the year so it’s nice they give us something in return!) It’s free, too!
GLO’s session on Body Image, Dating, and Sexuality is scheduled for the afternoon of Friday, August 16th.
The UOA’s Awards Banquet and Dance will be Saturday, August 17th.
