Armlong gloves
Enceased in Leather
When I saw this picture for the first time, I found myself instantly dreaming
going out tonight with a lady covered with shiny black leather like this
Yves Saint Laurent model. When sitting in the opera, her 16 button length
gloves get warm and soft and softer. She is sweating a little bit in the
hot shell of her tight leather gown, and wonderful leathery smell is filling
the air. People from all sides look and listen. Whenever she moves, her
glistening second skin is producing sweetest noise. And at the end, when
she is clapping her leather covered hands, the sound is outstanding.
I grab her hand, kiss her fingers, and she smiles and makes me the happiest
man in the world.
On the catwalk in leather
This gorgeous fashion idea is from Givenchy. The bustier gown is magically
fixed at the womans breast, and the intriguing elbow gloves end up with a
belt-like construction. If you click on the thumbnail picture and get the
full-size pleasure, you'll find that the gloves are punched with tiny holes.
Notice that women wearing leather gloves and leather garment always tend
to caress their buttery soft leather hide with their gloved fingers. So this
model is feeling her own waist through her enormously thin gloveleather.
It must be one of the best moments in a fashion model's life to be put into
wardrobe like this. Imagine the last moment when she slides into the brandnew,
very very tight fitting gloves, feeling the ultimate transformation. Then
she steps out, feeling the awe and the admiration of the people watching
her walk on slender heels.
Breakfast at Tiffany
This is another Givenchy design. As a tribute to Givenchy-only dressed up
Audrey Hepburn, this woman is smoking with gloved hands. I know that some
glove gourmets get extra kicks by girls smoking in gloves. I like the idea
of being at the restaurant with her, and she is unable (and unwilling) to
put off her tight gloves. She is very experienced. Being a real elegant woman,
she is spending most of her day in gloves, having hundreds of them. When
you click on the picture, watch the small wrinkles at her wrist and elbow.
The size of these gloves is extremely tight around her arms. When she is
bending the elbow, she is feeling every little crease of the narrow leather
tube.
All I wear is gloves
There are different theories about this picture. Some say, the girl has put
elbow gloves over her shiny black bodysuit, and it is difficult to see the
gloves' end. Others hope that she is dressed up with a seamless
shirt-glove-combination. Anyway, I love it when women wear jacket and gloves
of the same material. Again you see that she is caressing her face, feeling
the gentle leather touching her made-up face. The gloves are buttoned at
the wrist, allowing an extra tight fit around the wrist. Have you ever
experienced how erotic a leather-enceased wrist can be?
Gloves at your command
Pierre Cardin designed this somewhat strange cubistic jacket, and the fashion
photographer did what much more fashion photographers should do to brush
up dull clothing: add gloves, and you get a sufficient portion sex-appeal!
Leather
power
Is leather violent? Yes, but in a beautifully soft way. A woman in leather
is a woman in arms. She is the amazone archetype. The more difficult it becomes
for men live their warrior archetype, the more comfortable feel women in
this place. Leather and metal is a stunning combination, both male materials,
Yang energy (like spike heels and the color "glistening black"). A woman
in leather needs extra female Yin power to fill the Yang shell. I think,
this is one of the many mysteries about the fascination of leather.
What's in a kiss?
A great picture about a great opportunity: Kiss a ladys elbow glove. In former
days, it was absolutely inappropriate for a woman to attend any social event
with bare hands.
A day at the races
Especially in London it was absolutely impossible to join the hourse races
without hat and gloves. This particular woman, supermodel Jean Shrimpton,
was the one who broke the rules in the mid-60ies. She came ungloved and broke
ground for a new generation. Here, she fortunately comes gloved and with
marvellous leather thigh boots, the stocking-boot-style of the Beatles era.
I wonder how long her gloves are, but I think they will complement the
knee-hugging boots' claves and surround wonderful Jean's sleek elbows. The
big picture shows that the glove is at least of 8 button length, the gourmet's
minimal size...
Dream at Dior
In 1997, John Galliano designed the pret-a-porter-line for Dior, and he did
some outstanding gloves. Here Linda Evangelista comes perfectly gloved. Again,
I admire the tight fit of these gloves made of supreme leather quality. Like
liquid leather paint, they press around Linda's arms and make bending the
elbow some sweet pain experience, I am sure.
