Update 2-26-04

A four hour Farscape mini-series is currently being filmed; when and where the finished project will be seen has not been announced yet.

On 9-06-02, Farscape Executive Producer David Kemper (accompanied by Ricky Manning and Ben Browder) announced that the Sci Fi Channel had decided that they would opt out of season 5 (in the summer of 2001, Sci Fi had announced that they were picking up Farscape for 44 more new episodes, covering a full season 4 and 5).  This announcement was made at a chat at the #Farscape room at www.scifi.com/chat.  Unfortunately, this news came as a complete surprise and shock, and the crew has now finished filming season 4 - so this means that the story (which was expected to continue into season 5) will be left unfinished.

The Sci Fi Channel confirmed on 9-09-02 that Farscape had been canceled, and that the show would only run through to the end of Season 4 (USA viewers of the Sci Fi Channel still have 11 new episodes of Season 4 left to see - Sci Fi Channel will begin showing these episodes in January 2003).

Fans have mounted an enormous SAVE FARSCAPE campaign. Information about who to call , who to write to, who to e-mail, what to do can be found at any of the websites listed belowed:
