that are raising children with diabetes in the city of Marlbourough.

open invitation to hold meetings at local hospital,
recruiting membership thru local cable,
and newspaper articles, etc.
*alumni members welcome, which are parents of adult children,
and/or those now grown children with type 1 diabetes
are encouraged to join.
This resource is to support each other through the everyday
trials and tribulations of raising a child with diabetes.
Through this network children can meet
other children in their own community.
Siblings of diabetic children could benefit from an alliance.
Families can draw on each other for support and friendship.
Informal meetings, gatherings, and think tanks.
We need to know that we are not lone pioneers to this
disease in our community. We are about neighbors having a
unique bond our children, who happen to have diabetes.
We walk the walk, talk the talk, of parenting a child with diabetes.
Let's do this together! Let's be there for the next parent that
hears Insulin Dependent Diabetes and their child's name in
the same sentence. Let's have a strong presence for families
moving into our community leaving all their trusted support behind.
City wide knowledge will make our children safer, secure, and accepted.
After all they are children first! They deserve a community in the know!
