The Mimosa newsletter is 8 pages, digest size, quarterly publication, printed in b&w with occasional graphics and saddle stapled.Press run is 50 for 30 subscribers. Subscription is free with paid FWHS membership. Single copy: $2.

The Mimosa newsletter usually contains a Letter from FWHS President, Meeting recaps, Program notes, News and Announcements, Ku-dos (haiku related accomplishments by the FWHS Membership.) We enjoy publishing haiku, senyru, tanka, renga, rengay and haibun and are open to haiku related essays, interveiws and review submissions from our members. We also post a FWHS Calendar of upcoming events on the last page of each newsletter.

Submit 5-10 haiku/senryu at a time, or 3 longer poems such as tanka, rengay or renga or 1 haibun, essay or review. We accept previously published material, but if previously published, please include when and where. We prefer e-mail submissions in body of message, no attachments. All snail mail entries must include a SASE. Author's first and last name, address and phone number must appear at the top of e-mail and snail mail submissions and a brief bio. Cover letter is not required. Accepts submissions any time. Responds within the week to email, in about 1 month otherwise. Pays one copy. Acquires one time rights.
